One of Candido’s most loved wines, icon and symbol of the entire wine production of the Puglia region, with a wealth of experience and history behind it.
The Candido Cappello di Prete was the first Negroamaro red to pass through small barrels prior to bottling, and the only Apulian wine mentioned in the famous “1001 Wines to try in your life” by Neil Backett, with a preface by Hugh Johnson. It has also received the Golden Star, awarded to the best wines in Italy in terms of character, and which precisely and consistently express the typical features of their variety.
