Curiosità

The name of Le Pozzelle derives from two plots of land in Salento, the “Pozzella alta” and the “Pozzella basso”, home to vineyards owned by the Candido family. It received the 2004 Wine Oscar, the most important award in the Italian wine sector, promoted by Bibenda and the Italian Sommelier Foundation; Top Wine in the daily wine category; and one of the best 100 rosé wines of Italy, in the 2021 and 2020 editions of the Slow Food Editore guides.

Abbinamenti

A wine to accompany the entire meal, it goes very well with appetizers, rice and pasta dishes, eggs, white and red meats, fish and shellfish stews. Serve at 12–14 °C.
